Georgia’s highest court dropped one answer on Monday into the morass of questions surrounding who will pay for the defense of accused Fulton County Courthouse shooter Brian G. Nichols.
Ruling against the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council, the Supreme Court of Georgia unanimously reversed DeKalb Superior Court Judge Hilton M. Fuller Jr.’s order that Fulton County must pay some of Nichols’ defenses.
