Last month the Judicial Council of Georgia recommended that new bench seats be created for 11 judicial circuits -- with a new judge in Fulton County Superior Court as a top priority. Fulton County's high rank on the list comes a year after it failed to convince the Judicial Council to ask the General Assembly to create a new judgeship for the Atlanta Circuit.
