Jenner & Block has nabbed attorney Richard Ziegler, who has been the general counsel at St. Paul, Minn.-based 3M Co. for the past year, to join as a new partner in its New York office.
Ziegler, who oversaw about 150 lawyers at 3M, will spearhead a Jenner practice focused on complex litigation, including issues related to intellectual property, corporate governance, securities and government enforcement, the firm said in a release. Jenner & Block is a national firm with roots in Chicago that has about 470 lawyers.
