Multibillion-dollar defense contractor Raytheon is suing the U.S. Army in federal court for allegedly releasing company trade secrets to a Virginia-based marketing research firm. The firm, FedSources, obtained the materials through a Freedom of Information Act request, but it has agreed not to open the parcel until a district court judge rules on Raytheon's suit. According to court documents, the Army had plucked the information from a five-year contract between Raytheon and the military.
