Pittsburgh-based Thorp Reed & Armstrong has elected a new managing partner. Jeffrey J. Conn will take over as managing partner and chairman of the firm’s executive committee from Douglas E. Gilbert. Gilbert had served in the role since May 1995 and focused his practice on business and construction law.
Conn has served as the chairman of the firm’s financial institutions and real estate transactions practice. He took over as managing partner last month after being nominated and then elected to the three-year term. Conn said he was the only person nominated for the position.
