A disabled man’s lawsuit against an airline should remain in federal court, a federal judge ruled after analyzing the ambiguities of the Warsaw Convention.

Eastern District of New York Judge Eric N. Vitaliano, ruling in Bunis v. Israir GSA, Inc., 06-CV-6437, said the defendant airline, Israir, had properly sought removal of a personal injury lawsuit from state court because of the nature of the claim.
