The loyalty of Penn State's alumni to their school and its community have resulted in an increase in legal work. Between the work coming out of Pennsylvania State University, particularly in the technology and IP arena, and retiring alumni returning to the area, State College, Pa., and Centre County as a whole have become a fertile market for out-of-town law firms. "The town is growing, so there is obviously room for growth of the bar too," says McQuaide Blasko managing partner Mark Righter.
