Commentators have been buzzing a lot lately about "Web 2.0," and it's on reference librarian Tricia Kasting's mind as well. Kasting muses about social networking, the purpose of blogs and their upkeep, and the present and future role of "Millennials" -- those born between 1982 and 2002. In noting her reflections, Kasting finds that she raises more questions even as she discovers answers. She finds that she doesn't understand Millennials as well as she thought and that even the AALL has a Facebook section.

Web 2.0 has been on my mind a great deal recently.
I’ve promoted social software in law libraries and discussed keeping current on applications. Articles on Millennials and the impact of their online activities are of recent interest. I have notes on all of these topics, but not really enough on any one topic for a complete article.
