Lilly Ledbetter, the woman at the center of a landmark pay discrimination case against Goodyear, said at a press conference that she'll testify before Congress next week in a bid to change a law that the U.S. Supreme Court used to deny her claim. The Court ruled Ledbetter couldn't sue Goodyear because she didn't file her case within 180 days of the initial infraction. U.S. Rep. Artur Davis, D-Ala., said he plans to introduce a bill changing federal laws concerning discriminatory pay practices.
