Georgia State Rep. Michael J. Jacobs joined Hall Booth Smith & Slover as an associate on Friday from Krevolin & Horst. Jacobs, a Democrat, is serving his second term as a state representative from Atlanta's District 80. He won the newly created House seat in his first run for office in 2004. Hall Booth, with about 90 lawyers, will be a good fit with his legislative service and legal interests, says Jacobs, a business litigator, citing the firm's local government and utilities litigation work.
