Fired U.S. Attorney John McKay has landed on his feet. McKay, formerly the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington, will become senior vice president and general counsel of Getty Images. The company is one of the world’s largest distributors of news photographs. McKay was one of nine U.S. Attorneys who was forced out of the Justice Department last year.
Given that McKay lost his last job in an extraordinarily public way, the normal mealy-mouthed press release quotes are worth a read.
