A group of Reed Smith intellectual property attorneys defected to the Philadelphia office of Gibbons on Monday. Longtime head of Reed Smith's firmwide intellectual property group, Louis M. Heidelberger, led the move with one partner and three associates. Partner Thomas J. McWilliams and associates Edward F. Behm Jr., Justin C. Allen and Todd A. Norton will also make the move. Heidelberger and McWilliams will join the firm as directors, while Behm, Allen and Norton will stay associates.
