Two personal injury, medical-malpractice New Jersey firms are merging. Fifteen-lawyer Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks & Zarin of Springfield will acquire Sinins and Bross of Newark and be renamed as Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins. The amalgamation is a much-needed shot in the arm for Sinins, which shrunk from 20 lawyers in the early 1990s to a three-lawyer shop. And the Sinins crew brings expanded practice areas, namely civil rights employment litigation and white-collar criminal defense.
