Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney Joseph Alexis came as close as he could, without actually saying it, in his opening statement Monday that former Brooklyn Justice Gerald P. Garson sold justice.
Garson’s attorney, Michael S. Washor shot back that the prosecution’s case had “begun with a lie and ended with a grade B movie.”
