The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a lawsuit against a private security company stemming from the slaying of four of its guards by an angry mob in Iraq. Blackwater Security Consulting sought to have the wrongful death case brought by the estates of the four men moved from state court in North Carolina to federal court. The company's lawyers pointed to the potential implications of the case with "myriad federal contractors serving in Iraq and Afghanistan."
