Texas-based litigation boutique Susman Godfrey has expanded its New York office, which the firm opened last fall, by recruiting one partner and relocating another. One of the firm's top partners, veteran trial lawyer William C. Carmody, is moving to New York from Dallas. The firm also announced it had recruited Jacob Buchdahl, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, as a partner starting in April.
