A 53-year-old bookkeeper/office manager has been charged with first-degree grand larceny after allegedly stealing more than $4 million from his brother’s Garden City, N.Y.-based law firm, Nassau County police reported.
Anthony Galasso, who worked at Galasso Langione & Botter for 15 years, embezzled funds from the escrow accounts of at least 10 of the firm’s clients, falsified bank records and diverted the money into his own personal accounts, according to his younger brother and firm partner Peter Galasso.
