An Association of Corporate Counsel survey released this week found that 25 percent of in-house counsel plan to increase their use of outside counsel, up from 16 percent last year. There's speculation that SOX is the central reason. Recruiter Martha Fay Africa believes companies hope to spread the responsibility around.
