A prisoner’s request to have his conviction vacated because the late John Gotti threatened to kill his defense lawyer unless he asked questions just the right way has been rejected by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Frank LoCascio claimed ineffective assistance of counsel by Anthony Cardinale, saying the death threat made by Gotti caused Cardinale to “pull his punches” while representing LoCascio.
