A judge has lifted his order banning YouTube from being viewed in Brazil because of a sexy video that circulated widely on the video sharing site. Experts said the case may help define the gray area of when and how Internet companies and providers remove content when privacy rights are violated, in addition to sparking interest in the development of technology that would allow video sharing sites to identify and block newly uploaded video that is similar to or the same as previously removed content.

A judge reversed course Tuesday and lifted his order banning YouTube from being viewed in Brazil because of a sexy video of supermodel Daniela Cicarelli that circulated widely on the video sharing site.
Telecommunications companies and Internet providers had blocked YouTube in much of Brazil in recent days, saying they were unable to simply prohibit Internet users from viewing the video of Cicarelli and her boyfriend.
