A group of Morrison & Foerster real estate and land use partners are headed to 100-lawyer real estate firm Cox, Castle & Nicholson. The moves echo a trend that larger law firms are increasingly seeing, of less lucrative practices falling by the wayside. "It's not that uncommon for a real estate practice not to fit as well at an Am Law 100 firm as at a smaller firm," said law firm consultant Peter Zeughauser.
