A Baltimore-based real estate development company claims in a lawsuit that the U.S. management of Hard Rock Cafe International conspired with the Seminole Tribe of Florida to shut out other suitors who sought to buy the Hard Rock chain of restaurants and casinos.

The Cordish Co., along with Power Plant Entertainment LLC, sued the Seminole Tribe, Hard Rock Cafe International Inc. and Hard Rock president and CEO Hamish Dodds in Broward Circuit Court last Friday and alleged tortious interference, unfair trade practices and collusion.
