"Spain is actually a very strong economy in Europe and has been extremely active in the private equity markets," said Latham Chairman and managing partner Robert Dell. Latham lured M&A hotshot Jose Luis Blanco from the large Spanish law firm Cuatrecasas to head up its new operation, which will be headquartered in Madrid.
