Houston-based Fulbright & Jaworski opened an office in Denver this month to serve energy company clients operating in the Rocky Mountains. The Denver office, the 16th for the 1,009-lawyer firm, opened its doors on Nov. 13. The Denver office is the second new outpost for Fulbright in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the firm announced the opening of an office in Beijing.

“Denver in the last few years has become an energy capital, producing in its own right, and much of the oil and gas to be produced in the future in the U.S. will be produced in the Rockies,” says Houston partner Poe Leggette, head of the firm’s Western Lands and Energy Practice.
