Some people think that because I work at a Big Firm, I do not get to experience Halloween. But just because I am not at liberty to partake in the more common and trivial aspects of this holiday — like leaving early to trick or treat with the kids, shivering my way through a haunted house or swapping my suit for a Batman outfit — this does not mean I can’t indulge in the best parts of Halloween.
Indeed, any day of the year, I can watch zombies walk the earth, witness vampires sucking blood, listen to the window-shattering screams of true, unfiltered fear and feel the subtle, goose-bump-inducing chill of working with a ghost in the room.
