Memo to patent troll attorneys: Do your homework.
A federal judge in the Western District of Washington has sanctioned an attorney and his law firm for sending dozens of “fill-in-the-blank” demand letters and filing cookie-cutter patent infringement complaints on behalf of client Eon-Net, a patent holding company based in the British Virgin Islands.
