An airplane pilot does not have to reimburse his former employer for pilot training expenses even though he left the company after only seven months, a Suffolk County, N.Y., judge has ruled.

State Supreme Court Justice Robert W. Doyle granted Scott Wolkiewicz’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed against him by his former employer, Excelaire Service Inc.
