Nationally recognized ADR groups have long pushed alternative dispute resolution as cheaper and faster than courts for resolving intellectual property disputes.

But that hasn’t mitigated the concerns of IP owners. Most avoid the process, citing the quality of arbitrators, the lack of injunctive relief and the absence of huge damage awards.
