New Jersey firms Schenck, Price, Smith & King and Gallo Geffner Fenster have announced plans to merge their firms by the year's end. The combined firm will have a total of 75 lawyers, making it one of the largest in New Jersey and possibly among the state's 20 top-grossing firms. The new firm will keep the Schenck Price name. Says Gallo Geffner partner Stephen Fenster: "Schenck Price's name goes back at least 50 years, and no one here has an ego that requires that their name go up in lights."
