The battle over former N.Y. Stock Exchange Chairman Richard A. Grasso's compensation package of more than $139 million continues to heat up. His attorneys have filed a motion asking Justice Charles Edward Ramos, the presiding judge in the case, to reassign the matter. Gerson A. Zweifach of Williams & Connolly, who represents Grasso, laid out three grounds for recusal, including a claim that Grasso entered into ex parte settlement talks after Ramos agreed not to serve as trial judge should Grasso object.
