Fenwick & West partner Douglas Cogen has done 32 acquisitions on behalf of networking giant Cisco Systems, but the company's most recent acquisition may be his favorite. This week, Cisco paid $92 million for Arroyo Video Solutions, which has created software to allow consumers to watch videos on demand on, potentially, any electronic device. Cisco will eventually offer a networked digital video recorder, allowing users to watch anything at any time on their computers, cell phones, iPods and more.
