In dire need of an attorney general beyond ethical reproach, New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine has named his chief counsel, Stuart Rabner, a career federal prosecutor with a knockout r�sum� and a track record of handling complex criminal cases.

“I trust him,” said Corzine at a press conference on Aug. 24 announcing the nomination. “He’s a person you can place your confidence in.”
