Continuing a path of reform that has gathered pace in the past year, China’s securities regulator on Wednesday published the final draft of new regulations governing mergers and acquisitions involving companies listed on its two domestic stock exchanges.

The new rules contain six amendments to a draft document the China Securities Regulatory Commission published in May, highlighting the regulator’s increasing attentiveness to outside opinion, as well as its desire to encourage dealmaking.
