No Logoff in Fight Over Laptops in Class

Law students and professors continue to quarrel over whether laptops should be allowed in the classroom. While most students are using laptops to take notes, unauthorized usage such as checking e-mail, shopping or playing games in class is rampant, according to one student. Some professors are flat-out banning laptops in the classroom as a result, while others are regulating their usage through wireless Internet blockers, hardware or software.

The issue of using laptops in law school isn’t logging off anytime soon.

Law students and professors continue to quarrel over whether the technology should be allowed in the classroom.
