"Gaming has become mainstream, and it is largely proven to be a recession-proof industry," Harris says.

Morrison & Foerster partner Timothy Harris flies to Las Vegas at least once a month. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based attorney is not living the high roller’s life, however. Instead, he said, he’s busy representing the firm’s growing Las Vegas-based gaming-related clients.
