As part of its plans to become a 1,000-attorney firm, Duane Morris is acquiring a new 82,000-square-foot space in Times Square. Chairman Sheldon Bonovitz says he would like to add at least 20 attorneys in New York, mainly through group hires, before the firm moves into the new space in March or April. The firm currently has 70 lawyers in New York; the new office has room for about 120 attorneys. "It's probably the single most important market for us," says Bonovitz.
