Feds Argue Serra's Office of Solos Is Really a Firm

Federal prosecutors are trying to throw lawyer J. Tony Serra off a drug case -- and it's not because Serra will be starting a 10-month federal prison sentence next week. Instead, prosecutors claim that a conflict of interest exists because an attorney who shared offices with Serra had represented one of the case's prosecution witnesses. The attorneys who share Serra's offices say they are solos, but the government's renewed, longstanding claim is that they constitute a firm.

Something is bunk in the town of Cool.
