Nancy Rapoport, who recently resigned from her job as dean of University of Houston Law Center, said the final push was pressure over the school's declining rank. "It's like firing the head coach," said Jeffrey Stake, a law professor at the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. "You can't fire the players, so you fire the coach."

Nancy Rapoport was never a fan of law school rankings. Today, that’s an understatement.
