Nearly 200,000 electronic records at the University of Texas at Austin were illegally accessed in April, the school said. The university learned Friday that Social Security numbers and other information of students, alumni, faculty and staff may have been accessed, although the problem is believed to be limited to the McCombs School of Business. University President William Powers Jr. said, "Since then, we've been working to make sure the entire system, not just McCombs, is secure."
