Nearly 40 buyers have expressed interest in acquiring the North American operations of Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co., an executive with the company said Monday.
Mark Montgomery, senior vice president for P&O Ports North America’s East Coast operations, said a buyer will be selected in four to six months.
