Chicago-based Chapman and Cutler is increasing its Western presence with the addition of 10 Mabey & Murray attorneys to its Salt Lake City office. The five partners and five associates -- most formerly of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae -- include an environmental law group led by Kevin Murray. Chief Executive partner Richard Cosgrove says Chapman and the new attorneys found common ground in project finance, among other areas. Chapman also has an office in San Francisco, which it opened in 2003.

Ten attorneys from Mabey & Murray are joining Chapman and Cutler’s Salt Lake City office, bringing that office’s total number of attorneys to 16.
Nine of the new attorneys were previously employed at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae’s Salt Lake City office. After the LeBoeuf office closed last spring, Kevin R. Murray and his partners formed Mabey & Murray.
