Drug maker Wyeth said Monday that it won a case in Texas against a plaintiff who claimed a diet drug the company once made led to heart valve injuries. A district court jury ruled in favor of Wyeth over the popular diet drug combination fen-phen that was taken off the market in 1997. The company has spent more than $21 billion so far in awards and settlements related to the treatment.
