A New York man who enlisted his ex-wife to help kick an ex-girlfriend out of his house has won a battle in a protracted eviction dispute. Pursuant to the terms of Jose and Mary Valentino's divorce, the deed to the house stayed in both their names. The two argued that Mr. Valentino's ex-girlfriend, Isabella Reyes, was a licensee -- but she argued she was an "ex live-in paramour" in a relationship resembling a married couple's. A judge has denied Reyes' motion to dismiss, letting the action head to trial.

Bronx Civil Court Judge Mitchell Danziger has denied the motion to dismiss filed by the ex-girlfriend, Isabella Reyes, thereby allowing the action filed by Jose Valentino and his ex-wife, Mary Valentino, to head to trial.
