But Kirkland officials, citing conflict issues, said Monday the move is under "active consideration." The snag comes about a month after IP litigator James Pooley was tripped up just as he was about to go from Milbank Tweed to Morrison & Foerster. Managing client conflicts is a common task for law firms, but recruiters say it's relatively unusual for a conflict to snare a lateral so late in the game.
