Less than a year after Mark Raymond became managing partner at Broad and Cassel's Miami office, headcount there has gone from 12 lawyers to 24. The Orlando, Fla.-based firm, which has more than 150 attorneys in eight offices, also has established a statewide insurance and financial services practice group and a public finance and capital projects practice group. Though still not regaining its numbers of the '90s, Raymond says the firm is now seen, internally and externally, as one with a blossoming future.

Less than a year after Mark F. Raymond took the helm at Broad and Cassel’s office in Miami, the firm has more than doubled in size.
In the past two months alone, the firm has snagged six new hires, including partners Patricia M. Baloyra from Tew Cardenas and Ronald Albert Jr. from Holland & Knight, as well as of counsel Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz from Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske.
