Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has named Joseph Malkin to the newly created role of managing partner for the firm's U.S. offices. In addition, David Syed of Orrick's Paris office has been named to the newly created position of managing partner for Europe. Karen Johnson-McKewan will replace Malkin as partner in charge of the firm's San Francisco office.

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe announced last week that it has named Joseph Malkin to the newly created role of managing partner for the firm’s U.S. offices.
Malkin was formerly partner in charge of the firm’s San Francisco office. He is replaced in this capacity by Karen Johnson-McKewan.
