The full-service firm has confirmed plans to open an office in San Francisco as early as this summer as part of its ongoing effort to shift its status from a regional firm to a national firm. Goodwin lawyers see San Francisco as a good match for the firm's areas of strategic focus, which include private equity, intellectual property and technology firms.
