Whenever something goes wrong, people blame lawyers. It's the lawyers who gum up the works, with their "compelling state interest" in making everyone miserable. But lawyers haven't ruined everything yet, writes commentator Laurence D. Cohen. In fact, many are working to promote civic beautification. For example, the city of Chicago is embroiled in a case to ban racing pigeons, which shed and poop all over the place. And who better to fight the noble fight for a poop-free city than attorneys?
