An East Bay nail maker is tightening the screws on two plaintiffs firms advertising for litigants against the company.
In suits filed earlier this month in San Jose, Calif., and Tennessee, Simpson Strong-Tie Co. alleges that Web and newspaper advertisements by two firms defame the company, implying its screws are defective.
