Continuing an expansion that has more than doubled attorney head count in the past five years, Cleveland-based McDonald Hopkins has acquired Detroit-area law firm Lindahl Gross Lievois. The combined firm has 116 attorneys in four U.S. cities. Lindahl Gross had been in talks with other firms, but a managing partner said Lindahl Gross liked the fact that McDonald Hopkins had retained an entrepreneurial attitude and small-firm sense of camaraderie while growing in size.
